MNI Financial is recruiting an experienced Procurement & Vendor Manager? We are looking for someone who can ensure the group has a strong network of service providers who have been approved in accordance of ISO27001, ISO9001 and BS10012. Our client is a long established, global pharmaceutical and clinical trials UK services company.
Key Responsibilities

• Qualifying service suppliers to be used in accordance to Quality, Data Processing and Information Security assessments.

• Working with Executive Management to ensure new vendors/suppliers have the appropriate authorisation to be introduced to the company.

• Working with the Exec to continuously improve the vendor/supplier management process to maximise contracts and maintain a high standard of approved suppliers.

• Processing vendor/supplier assessments, and corresponding with the relevant experts to ensure the suppliers have the appropriate controls in place.

• Management & responsibility of the Approved Supplier Log/ procure and implement software to achieve the same.

• Create, consult and roll out a procurement, qualification and audit process within the compliance outlined above.

• Liaising with the legal department to make certain the appropriate contracts are in place with each approved supplier.

• Ongoing supplier evaluations/re-qualification and/or terminations.

• Conduct annual reviews for key supply chain, including audits and feed back to executive committee.

• Management and updates to the content of the Supplier Matrix/Software System.

• Training on key aspects of Supplier Management, such as navigation of the Approved Supplier Log, filing of contract information, feedback on suppliers.

Key requirements

• Background in vendor procurement and service supplier management ideally with experience of ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and BS10012.

• Experience of implementing standards and growing the process.

• Used to building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams with a highly personable approach.

• A pharma or life science background would be highly desired.

• Excellent negotiating skills.

• Tenacious and thorough.

• Able to travel globally should the opportunity arise.
